I used to workout in the mornings or afternoons, but my work schedule has changed and I must now workout at night. I plan on working out and having a PWO shake. Is it ok to go to sleep after PWO or should I eat something afterwards? Also if I do not eat after the shake, should I switch from a pure whey powder, to a blended powder? Sorry if this was answered already, but I was unable to find it by searching. Thanks.

I have 1 Scoop of Whey in Water or milk, some eeg whites 2 or 3 and Cottage Cheese. Sometimes all 3 and other just Whey and 1 of the other 2.
For me I'm in burn mode and doing this hasn't stoped my fat % to drop and weight to drop either!
I'm not a pro at this but I've read it here that thoughs are all 3 safe before bed.
I don't go right to bed but at times I've gone down within 30 minutes to an hour!

Thanks for the response. I thought PWO should only be with water though and then a meal about an hour later. I did not want to stay up to eat another meal, did not know its ok to add all that to the PWO shake.

I don't mix it into a shake combined I don't like it like that, I either drink it with Water or Milk and then eat the others.
This is my 5th and final meal of the day not just a PWO, I was learned that we save proteins and fats for this type of meal before bed.
This may not be an ideal PWO thing but it's my 5th meal and final about 9 PM and this would also be the same if I trained at night. I mix up my training times from morning , noon, and night. All access 24 hour gyms are sweet!
