hey :)
I read that you shouldnt eat carbs after 7-8pm.... (it was some thread on this site)
My problem is that I work till 7 30, and I work out from about 745-915...... then I usually drink a protein shake (protein powder with milk, yogurt, bananas and strawberries and creatine)..... I am sometimes still hungry after that.... I go to bed at around 11pm.... am I allowed to eat something or should I rather go a bit hungry to bed?
thanks

Maybe have 1/2 cup cottage cheese(fat free or low fat) with a tbsp. natural peanut butter in it. That is if your looking to gain. If I remember correctly, you were.

It surely wasn't a "quality" thread. There is no magic witching hour where carbs somehow automatically turn to fat. If you are energy deficient, you body will utilize them just fine.

bb1's exactly right. Coming in from a workout is one of those times where you need it, be it day or night means nothing. I know this, don't know why I missed it, but I did, thanks for catching it.
