From my understanding, if you want to add lean mass, you shouldn't do cardio. But i feel that if i don't do cardio, then i'll gain a large stomach. I don't understand the whole not doing cardio thing.

You should nto do to much cardio on your lifitng days. Save it for your off days and stay under 30 minutes.

Cardio helps with endurance. If your looking to build bulk (large muscle) then limit your cardio as mmaibohm said. If your looking for enduring performance (i.e. sports like football or wrestling) then cardio is a must. Ask around and you may find the answer you're looking for.

i don't do much cardio, and have made gains, but saying that, they may have been better gains with cardio, so i dont know.
