Hey everyone. Just wanted to tell you that I am not drinking soda anymore, and for the past week I have been doing well. I have been drinking water, Crystal Light, and juices. Was wondering though, if there are any juices that are lower in sugar than others. I bought some Langers tropical juices, and they have about 30g of sugar, which is less than soda but still really high. Anyone have any thoughts??

I drink juice all the time. I try to go for natural stuff. The difference between sugar and "high fructose corn syrup" is huge. Juice is going to have sugar, simply because it is from fruit, which naturally has sugar. Just stay away from the Sunny D type "juices" and you should be ok.

Congrats CristalBelle!

Why not invest in a juicer...? that way you know what you're drinking..

My mom had a juicer, and we loved it, but fruit isn't cheap, and neither is the juicer, so for the time being ,we have to go with bottled stuff. Sunny D makes me throw up literally, so thats not a problem...I guess I will just buy what looks like it will taste good, and not look at the sugar content as it is natural sugar. Thanks

Cristalbelle - i hate to be the baddie here - but sugar is sugar and you don't need the juice.
Eat some fruit, at least you get fiber and something filling in your stomach.

Drink water and crystal light - herbal tea is great, too!

asimmer, you can always be the baddie as long as it helps! I actually prefer Crystal Light, fruit flavored sparkling water and tea. The juice is more for my husband(no soda for him either) and for when I want a break from the others, and as a treat for when I have been really really good!
