I am 29 years old and am trying to lose about 40 lbs, I have been working out for a month now and have not lost one pound. I do spinning, kickboxing and bodyworks classes every week. I have been eating better and still nothing, one week I actually gained weight. People keep telling me that muscle weighs more than fat but my goodness not one pound I have lost. Anyone have suggestions or advice???
It usually comes down to diet. It's great that your burning calories with your workouts, but you probably need to really focus on your diet. There is some great information in the nutrition / diet forum. Read up and re-evaluate your diet.

I am not familiar with bodyworks, but if it does not involve weight training then you should add that into the mix. You need a combination of diet, weight training and cardio. Good Luck and do not give up.
