i have been weight traing for almost 4 years. now i have switched from strength traing for power lifts and stuff to body building however my only problem is i am no longer sore. i know r body get used to it after a while . i've even gone from working out 4 days a week to 5 days a week ( chest, back, arms, legs, shoulders) 1st time i did it i was a lil sore maybe for 2 or 3 hours after but still i do not get sore anymore. i've shortened my work outs to about an hour to hour and 15mins( i used to work out for 2 hours but i did 2 body parts) i've tried everything from flushing muscles with one excercise to doing 3 or 4 one after another still after the 1st time i do it i no longer get sore??? any idea???

that is not unusual, I assume you are referring to DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness). At your advanced training stage you probably won't. Under certain circumstances you may. I haven't gotten sore for years now, sometimes when I do some brand new exercise, I may get a smidgen of soreness the following day. Soreness is not a measure of a good workout at your stage. If you "feel" with each set what you did while taking it to failure, you are doing your utmost workout.

I've been reading recently that soreness actually impedes your recovery, so I wouldn't worry too much.
