hello all... i am a brand new member and at this point i am very enthusiastic. I have belonged to a small gym in the past and really enjoyed it, however, it moved on and now there is no motivator. I have committed myself to starting over at home, and have purchased some gym equipment, I own a balance ball, and a few other gadgets. I have recently been gaining a lot of weight, I sit a desk all day long and the only excercise i get is gofing in the summer. I am also a smoker....gag. I have decided that it is time to get my self together, so starting this monday i will become a non smoker !! with the help of my gym equipment...nothing like a long walk on the treadmill to conquer that craving. I have convinced myself that this is going to work, and hope that i get the support that i need. hats off to everyone that is healthy and fit or on their way to being.

Well done for stopping the smoking, and making the decision to start exercising, see if you can get outdoors for daily walk, use lunch times to get a bit extra too.

Hey, welcome to FT! Good luck on the no smoking this Monday. It's easy to do once you make the decision to do it. That is key. After 2 weeks it will be a thing of the past. You sound determined and if you want some support, the people here are willing to supply it. When you get a chance, fill out your profile so we can get to know you better and help you easier when you have questions.
