Any ideas about working out for a nursing mom? I'm determined to get back into shape after having had my baby, but seem to be tired all of the time. I've been back into the gym for a couple of weeks and find myself exhausted toward the end of my workouts and really dragging once I'm home. When I'm like that, its hard to even eat because I just want to crash and sleep. I figured that I should just have some boiled eggs waiting for me when I get home, but that wouldn't do for my other children. I've put on about twenty pounds and I'm pretty sure that about five pounds is breast increase for while I'm nursing. The other fifteen is just sitting on my rear it seems. Also, I had a c-section. Is there any reason that I shouldn't be able to train my abs the way I used to (cable crunches really seem to do me in a bit)? I figured that I should be okay since my doc said that i could resume normal activities again, but am still a bit uncomfortable in my lower abs.

Funny name, LOL! It seems your metabolism needs to be raised in order for you to have more energy during the day. How's your diet in general? Eating small meals often? How many times a day do you exercise? Tell us more about your daily regimen...
