Ouchhhhhh...my muscles are sore! Good thing I've got the day off! But, seriously, they aren't too bad, and I'm glad they are sore cos that way I know I was working the right muscle groups for each exercise:dumbbell:.

I'm happy with my programme, but I do have some concerns regarding nutrition. I can't really start on a sensible diet til my next food shop, and it looks like most of the food products on here are american branded. From the diet plans I've read about, Weight Watchers seems to be the most realistic on a weekly basis, and more about lifestyle change then diet. Plus, I'm a meat and veges girl and very fussy about food. I'm not overweight..my BMI is 24. But my Body Fat count is 26% - which is in the overweight category. So...I'm not looking for a drastic diet change..I'm not a big eater anyway..just eat the wrong foods. Any advice on what to do about my nutrition would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Keep Smiling
Kellie :)

Well, just try and make sure the meat you eat is lean, and the veggies contain fiber. No white foods. That should work fine.

Thanks carivan, yup I've been reading about all those nasty starchy foods and how they are just as sugary as a tub of ice-cream if not worse! - something to that effect anyway.

Hmmmmm...giving up white rice and potatoes not a problem..don't really like either anyway. But the white bread I am a sucker for. Lucky for me...we have a great mixed grain brown bread here called 'Vogels'. Brown rice is yum too. What about pastas...these are technically yellow..but I'm sure they are just as starchy and thus..sugary???

Cheers all
Kellie:)

Pasta is ok but I would only have it once per week. If you can make your own pasta even better. Try having it earlier in the day rather than for a supper. Less carbs at night is better.
