I was looking to see if I can get some advice from anyone who have tried various nutritional programs. I am sure most weightloss/nutritional programs work. But I guess it is finding the right one. My girlfriend had quite of her coworkers recommend a Glycemic Index (GI) program. Can anyone give me any insight on this program?
I have been searching the internet trying to find some generic programs and various recommended recipes, etc. But I am not having much luck.
So if anyone has any info, please let me know!

tg it would all depend on what you are wanting to do. Any diet is a commitment to changeing your life. Can you tell us what you are wanting to do? Loose weight? Gain muscle?
-------------- My Catahoula did it.
I saw a book titled "Sex for Dummies" and wondered why
anyone would teach dumb people how to reproduce?

tg, to gain muscle you'll need to increase your calories.
Even if you do gain a little weight by adding muscle, muscle takes up less space than fat and you can look slimmer by adding muscle.
If my dang picture would update you could see what I was talking about.
I started at 176lbs, then (before finding this site) dropped to 161lbs by eating better and doing aerobics with the wife.
Then I decided to add muscle. I am back up to 174lbs. But, here's the good part. I still get asked how much weight I've lost after being at 161lbs.
So, weight isn't quiet as important as fat to muscle percentages!!!
