Ok I have read that everyone seems to eat oats somewhere in there meals. I picked up some Quaker Oats last night and they don't have near the protein or cal's that I thought. I went to nutritional data and looked up oats and this is what I found: http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts-001-02s04ek.html
Where can I find these oats or what brand? Thanx
Also is it ok to mix oats with yogurt. I had some Yoplait Blueberry yogurt that I mixed with my oatmeal today and it made it taste descent.

I dunno. Try putting a scoop of protein in your oatmeal after it cools down. I figured that with the protein (23) and the oatmeal (5) I get about 28 grams of protein. Slightly better than the oats you're looking for, and a lot lower in calories.

Do not buy quick oats. Buy the standard Quaker oats or your store brand will do. Wonderful soluble fiber, slow digesting for good pre workout fuel. They do not have alot of protein, as the protien in them is inconsequential in the first place(incomplete amino acid profile, as are most vegetarian sources of protein). that is not what you eat them for.

The oat i eat is: you only need to take a few spoon fulls and then add hot water in.

The Quick oats are actually just sliced thinner, thus the quicker cooking, but also a bit higher glycemic index due to also faster absorbtion.

quick absorbing, more bad/good news... right? Bad news if you're eating them, good news if you're using them for litter.
