Officially introducing myself to this community.

I have been reading, learning, and laughing at the posts in Freetrainers for the past 11 months. I have posted a few times without properly introducing myself first(Sorry). So here goes....

After a month or so of training I started searching the web for sources of information. I found many, but somehow through my searches I came across an animated thread by a poster named 7707Mutt and a poster named TenorSaxManDave. I read, laughed, and was inspired by two guys who shot encouragement, challenges, and insults (sarcasm) at each other.

Through constant reading of this site and becoming a member, I learned of many more genuine people who are interested in their own success and the success and well-being of others. I have also learned of other people and sites that have inspired me. Mainly EliteFTS.com (Dave Tate, JIm Wendler), DeFrancostraining.com, alwyncosgrove.com, and all of the strength/physique coaches at T-nation.com Thre are a few others but you get the picture.

I thank all of the genuine posters and moderators on this site for this. I would list names but it would be a lenghtly list.

I applaud you and wish you continued success in all of your endeavors.

My one year anniversary of getting back to the gym is fast approaching (January 24,2008), and I am working on getting a digital camera or camcorder so I can make some videos and have my form evaluated by the guys in the powerlifting /Strength training forum. I will post when I get more information for you.

P.S. I will also add pictures when I get the camera. I like seeing a picture of the person who is posting as I'm sure you are.

Congratulations on your year of fitness, and keep it going. This site is fabulous. I too am very thankful to have fallen upon it 2.5 years ago. :)

Wow someone brought up my old thread.

I saw Charlie put out a request for old members to get their asses back here. I second that.
