So I'm in OH for almost a week; get back Monday night. Tuesday morning, I wake up, feeling a little sluggish, but that's expected. Then, at 10:30 am BAM! I get way-laid by some freaking alien Maritian planet-killing virus! My doc says it's just the flu, but I know better.
No joke, guys, this crap laid me out for the last week. I don't even remember the last time I was this sick. I've been a quivering, can't see anything, who the hell am I, fever-saturated, can't move a muscle, praying for death pile of muck up until now. I only moved from the bed to the couch and back. At least today, I made it downstairs to actually try eating something more a slice of toast, Tylenol, and Gatorade (we're talking less than 500 kcals/day!).
So, sorry I haven't been on lately, but I'll try to get some stuff posted regarding the Arnold. I still gotta catch up with work and school. *bleh*
Time to go crawl back into my grave, er, I mean, my bed.......

One quick question rev you didnt happen to take a flu shot did you? I have heard of people taking the flu shot and getting it. Which is oxymoronic you take it to prevent it. I will never take it. LOL

You poor guy. I was diagnosed with the "flu" on Thursday of last week after 3 days of hell. I was like you. If I had the energy and bodily function to laugh at the Dr. I would have when he said it was the flu but instead just said "uhhhhh". Today is my FIRST day back to work in a week and a half and I can finally remember my own name.
I agree. This thing they are calling the "flu" is nothing short of a mutated version of some monkey ebola virus from South India or something. I do promise you, it will start to get better, just sleep sleep sleep. AND! When you think you are well enough to go back to work, wait ONE MORE DAY. I tried to come back yesterday and made it only 2 hours. I needed one more day to just relax and get some true "non-sick" rest. Hang in there. I feel so bad for you. :(
