i just started out my program here at Ft.
But on the 1st day of my training i went running in this cold weather and i got sick. I have been sick with the flu the past few days and i have already missed 1 day of my training program. So should i just give up on that day or try to fit in later on this week or next week?

If you only missed one workout, don't think more about it.
If you still feel sick then take a week off and save the work out for the next week.
Hope you'll get better soon!!

I read in a magazine called 'Muscle & Fitness Hers' that if your cold symptoms are below the neck (feeling nauseous, wheezing, etc.) then you shouldn't do any exercise. But if the symptoms are above the neck, (runny nose, sore throat, headache, etc.) then its ok to exercise, and may actually be beneficial.
