After buying both these products and reading the label, would it be overkill to take both of them. Do they basically do the same thing?

I did for awhile but not they don't do the same thing!
Fish Oil is hands down far more superior over flax so I decided why waste the calorie and fat intake on Flax when I can just take more Fish.

The parent of flax is ALA, which has to be converted by the body. (a chain has to be added). Not all are efficient at this, and as we age, diabetes, etc. plays a role in our abilities. Marine sources are superior to vegetarian sources.
