Hey all.I'm a newbie and just want to know if i'm going about this thing the right way.My plan is progressive gains. My diet is 3100 cal. 220 p. 60 f. 440 c. roughly.I'm supplementing protein, glutamine and creatine. My diet is pretty clean , having trouble eating healthy and hitting my calories though.Eating right is so much more filling.I lift m-w-f. and cardio t-th-s either stepper for 30 min. or run 3 miles.I'm 5'11" and 180lbs. now gained a lb. or two since I started this plan.Just wondering if my plan is a good starting point or not.I'm guessing i'll have to tweak the diet once I see what happens to my body.Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated or just your comments.Thankyou for your time.
Sounds like you are heading in the right direction. As you said, you will probably have to tweak your diet as you go along. You have gained some weight which, according to your goal, is what you want. How about your bodyfat? Can you tell a difference in the way you look? How do your clothes fit? How do you feel? Are you more energetic? Motivated? Are you satisfied with your progress thus far? These questions can help you determine if your plan is working for you. Stick with your program, evaluate your results, and make changes based on your results. Good Luck
