Hello to all I recently joined freetrainers. I started the progressive gain workout and was wondering on the protein intake of 181 grams perday. I only have one kidney but my kidney is very healthy and was not transplanted, I was wondering if anyone knows if protein intake would affect it. I'm starting out to shoot for 100grams until I learn more.

Welcome to ft! I think this question is better answered by your physician. Too much of anything can cause adverse effects. However, high protein intake by athletes is quite normal.

Good luck!

I agree with rpacheco, you should check with your doctor on the protein intake. Welcome to FT.
