If you allow somebody to have that kind of control over you,if you allow another persons actions to dictate how you look at and treat yourself, you don't need that person in your life.

But in your case none of that even matters...he hit you???Twice?????I'm going with t on this one....

Dump him...

like the trash he is...

Dump him or call the cops next time he hits you. Maybe he'll enjoy getting tie wrapped!

I know from experience he hit you once or twice he'll hit you again, and if he doesn't respect you enough not to put his hands on you, he won't respect you enough not to cheat on you. KICK HIS ASS TO THE CURB QUICKLY! Then watch sleeping with the enemy to remind yourself why you don't need him back. protect yourself.

I agree, he isn't worth your time, get rid of him..I bet you will feel better instantly.

And lift some weights to deal with the stress and anxiety - nothing beats battling the weights or running on the elliptcal for erasing stress!

So... he verbally abuses you, beats you, goes off to a swinging party and you're asking advice and eating cheese puffs? You may be beyond help.

A good friend of mine had a similar problem. She was married to a E9 green beret who used to smack her around. After a while she grew weary of being a punching bag and came up with this solution.

She got him really drunk one night. He passed out in their bed and she got a bunch of safety pins and pinned the sheets and bedspread every 6 inches around the perimeter of the bed creating a nice tight cocoon. She waited 6 hours so he was good and hung over and then she took a one inch thick broom handle and proceded to beat the everliving shit out of him.

Before she unpinned him, she told him in no uncertain terms that she realized that he could return the treatment at his will but that he should remember he would have to sleep again sometime and she'd be waiting.

End of abuse and beatings.

KC I posted this on the pro board but I forgot you haven't dipped into that rusty wallet for a membership so this is for you.

We weathered the storm well. It helped us find a ton of leaks. We have plugged about 25 leaks and are about half way done. These are roof leaks, not hull leaks. Old boats are so much fun. Thew winds got up to a sustained 50 mph and we both slept through the worst of it. We spent the rest of the time retying other boats on the dock. Nobody sustained serious damage and we had a ball.
