This ones for you BB1, I hear you talk about optimum nutrition a lot. Is it good stuff? Was gonna get Nitro-tech, I know that stuff works, but it does lighten your wallet considerably. So, would you suggest optimum as a good alternative?

You must be mistaken, I do not talk about Optimum nutrition. I have used some of their products, but usually in a pinch. As far as cheap goes, their Pro blend whey protein isolate is relatively cheap just looking at price, and rated ok in lab tests as far as purity.

Sorry bb1, I guess I was mistaken. In that case, What would you recomend as a good protein powder that will not break the bank? Thanks a lot for the help.

Also, bb1,is there any particular brand that makes ZMA that you would suggest?...not sure if it even matters what brand of zma you have because it is just minerals and vitamins, but, I will take your word on it more than any joe-somebody at GNC who thinks they know everything

What kind of protein are you looking for, act3 - blended protein, whey only, milk and egg, etc.? And for what purpose - all day, post workout, etc.?

Hey rev,
Im not too sure which one I need. I am interested in progressive gains. I could lose a little body fat to see that six pack, but want to keep muscle mass up. I do know how to do it, was a trainer for southern california high school football teams.
I always used Nitro-tech, but noticed that it put a little more weight on me than I liked, and it was very expensive. So, again, not to sure which protein i should take. Any suggestions? :)(also, if you know of any brands of ZMA that are particularily good, that would be cool).
Thanks again.
