Last time I went to the Gym was 5 days ago, I did Back and Bicepts. I normally do like 6 sets for each muscle. But last time i went I did double, My bicepts are still sore, I believe for the most part they are sore because I use them a lot at work, (Lugging around cases of beer and such) I work each muscle once a week, i wanted to work each muscle on 3 days rest, but i am sore from working and the gym so i take 6 days rest. Is it ok to workout more even if i am sore? I think i am gonna take it slow for awhile and then build my way up to working out on 3 days rest and doing 6 sets

I have always done 9-12 sets depending on bodypart. Now I know that it is a lot, but once a week is all each part gets trained and FOR ME any less is usually not enough. My arm usually like 9 or so...though I have had great workouts with 6...just some food for thought.
