I told you I would whimper! Well, just like I said, I have been through my gym orientation - the trainer was very nice, but put me on the exact same routine as a super super thin woman looking to gain weight/muscle, whereas I am looking to lose weight and firm up my muscles. Oh well. Took a step class with weights after the circuit and I must say, my calves are SCREAMING in pain. I will take all the advice I got and stick with the program for some time until I stretch. Injuries Bl*w!! Whine whine whine whine whimper!

Hmm yes sore calves are nooooo fun!
About your routine, if you put on some lean muscle mass, watch your diet and do some cardio you'll automatically loose weight. Just stick to it and you'll be great.
Luck to you!!!

I so know about the sore calves... I did some heavy cardio which included a lot of jumping. That was Monday. Since then, I have been walking funny to try to avoid the pain.
No fun at all.

My husband is the big baby when it comes to legs. He has never worked his legs before and I can lift pretty heavy on legs so I started off with more weight then he did and then he tried to show me up and got a nnice cramp. He was so mad at me for inflicting pain but now I think he likes doing legs.
