How long has it been since your workout? It is normal to have sore muscles after a workout, especailly if you are new to the experience. Some pain is typical, however you can reduce it by stretching before and after a workout. I personally like to come home and take a long bath after I have had an intense workout, this helps soothe your muscles. There are other ways to help reduce the pain, but I cannot think of them all at the top of my head. Look in the other threads, I know that there was a recent post put up on how to reduce muscle pain.

Yeah aching tri's after a workout on say ur chest, is perfectly normal to begin with. Just don't overtrain...made that mistake once. Never again.
Try the sauna/steam room after a workout, does wonders for me.

By the time you learn to love the pain...it goes away and then you'll think you're not working hard enough.

Yup, as stump said, just don't go looking for that pain once it doesn'd happen anymore. You'll still be working just sa hard.
