When I do any bicep lifting, I feel the burn and everything while doing it. However, right when I let go of the dumbell or whatever it is, I feel a shooting pain in my forearm for about 6 seconds after. Is that totally normal. It hurts like a mother, none of my friends experience this so I really dont know if thats normal. HELP? thankyou

Where in your forearm is the pain? Near the elbow, wrist, etc.?

Could be a form of tendonitis (tennis elbow), or, believe it or not, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. Have your doc check it out - it can be treated. And it's better to treat early and get back to lifting, than to keep making things worse.

I have the same problem when I'm doing triceps except the pain is on my shoulder.

The pain is from the wrist to the elbow. Wow though it seems like many people experience this issue. The way I make it feel somewhat better is when I put a dumbell down, I squeeze my arm, and slowly let go. Thanks though for the help.

I'm experiencing this deadly pain right now. I did 4 sets of 21's and now the line when ur forearm joins with ur biceps are really burning and I can't move my arms.
