Do you do speed box squats with bands very often? Just curious...I've fallen in love with them and they might help you out of your plateau. Maybe try some single leg stuff? High rep stuff possibly? I dunno cuz really I've never plateaued on squats. I'm just throwin ideas out.

andrew I am guessing your weak link is the lower half of the squat....'out of the hole'.....at 45degrees, you're at your strongest......if you do choose to train upper 1/3 of the lift...go heavier not lighter....like do max+30-50lb on top.....

to train lowest portion(like the lowest 1/3)...I would use lighter weight, and go down through bigger range of motion than you're used to...so if you just crack parallel...go down to where your butt touches your calves and then go up...you may even want to pause for a second....but then I'd use even lighter weight...I am not sure what %....maybe 70-75 ...with 3-5 sets of 3 reps.....

or you can try going down low and then rising up only about 1/2 of the way and going down.....and doing that for like 3 reps....for 3-5 sets total....using maybe 80-85%....

I do box squats weekly......but not twith bands no, only ever 3 weeks.

The whole squat actually feels descent.....but oen day i ran otu of steem at abotu 45degress......i was hoping the partials would....since I can do more weight, or at least more reps at higher range...would
1. shock the system to grow stronger
2. help my nervious system get used to bigger loads
3. work all the stablizer muscles used in squat.

I was thinking about doing these after my dynamic box squat

iv always tryed to have the all or nothing mentality. at first it was about the range of motion untell i learned of boars and floor presses so now its turned into all or nothing effort. if working the sticking point on the bech and deadlift works i dont see why it wouldnt work for squats

I was going to say try box squats if you don't already but it looks like you do. I myself have tried partial squats before, and I tore the lining of my abdomin and had to have surgery. I was doing the right form, I was just going higher in weight, hopeing to get use to it so I could do more when I did full squats. It didn't work out as well as I planned. However, Leg Presses do nothing for me and they tremendously help others so I don't know. Everyone's body is so much different it's hard to give this kind of advice. What my body did not handle, your body may very easily be able to handle. I would say give it a shot, you'll know if your hurting yourself while doing it, so just do it with caution.

Andrew do you do these partial squats with the bar set in the rack and just get under and go up? Try placing the bar in a rack at the point of the squat where you are stuck or just below the point where you are getting stuck and just go up with the weight. Work up to a max single. These might help. Also, try low box squats which will help you deadlift as well.

It targets your quads more than your hamstrings, which is what is needed for a big squat. However, it will get your body used to handling heavier weight. Kinda like lockouts and walk outs with weight greater than your ORM. It gets your body ready for heavier weight.

If you do, you can get a better carryover just doing lockouts or walkout... If you do decide to do 14 squats, make use a weight greater than your 1rm to get your body used to the weight. You can do these after your main exercise, or right before a max attempt, to make it feel lighter. I would recommend them, but not as a ME or main exercise. I remember when I first started lifting the limiting factor was that the weight felt like it was going to bend my spine (yes, i was that small and weak) and walkouts with heavy weight defianatly helped with that. I recommend them, but only as an assistance.
