I'm not seeing the results I had hoped for in my pectoral development, so I'm looking for suggestions. I've gained "some" mass in a straight line from armpit to sternum/ and along the clavical. (As I flex my chest, I can see the lines move across). I have lost some fat, but I don't have the type of definition most of us are looking for, yet... It's only been about three months.
I work my chest really, really hard (cuz it's generally the day before a rest day) with dumbell presses and/or flys (incline/decline/ and flat bech, in varying order) I also throw in some bench presses occasionally, and I recently started really enjoying a Pyramid-type chest workout with the pulley system. I usually end the workout with butterflies and/or sitting chest press (both on machines).
So my question is: How do you get development (or when do you see development) that "rounds down" from sternum to armpit? (Good graphic: draw a line from armpit, down below nipple, and across to sternum)

Thanks
D

Well, if your looking for mass, start putting barbell bench presses first, try this

Barbell Bench Press
Incline Bench Press
Dumbell Bench
Incline DB Fly
Crossovers
Dips

I got the same- I can feel the line it's taught, hard. But then it's soft as you move down but deep under the fat you can feel it's there... I need a rethink on tweaking my diet up a level and sticking to it to reduce a bit more FAT!

So sorry to say the 'its genetics thing too'. But it is, my mates nephew is 21 been in the prison gym for 2 years too(which helps)- He naturally has that just pert decent gym trained look without training , so now looks like a mini bodybuilder(he's very short, thin and fat less).. it's like looking at a skeleton with the muscle layed in place with nearly paper thin skin membrane so as not to take away the striations.
So training is good but luck is also strong. We can't all be blessed so learn patience as it could be years to sculpt the perfect shape for you.
