a guy at my gym told me that pineapple juice is good to drink in the morning with breakfast because i workout in the morning and its a simple suguar, because i eat oatmeal in the morning and it is a complex carb...any truth to that? thanks

A blend of both would be good. Fast acting for quick energy, and the oats for more sustained fuel.
