Hi. I just joined in as a member. My goal is to get lean, defined muscles. I need a workout plan that will allow me to workout at home at least 2/3 times a week(only have light hand weights at home) and at the gym 2 times a week(I can only go 2 days with my motherly duties). The "build-muscle" plan assumes I have access to weights/machines all the time and the "homeplan" I don't think will help me achieve my goals by itself. I try making two plans but then I get a lot of repetitive exercises. Is there a way to incorporate home and gym workouts into one fitness plan?

to get defined, dropping bodyfat is the most important thing. so running and other types of cardio are very important. For lifting, maybe divide into upper and lower body. for upper body, you could do curls, pushups, chair dips for triceps, side raises, and bent over bent arm laterals for back. for lower body, you can do deep squats, or if theyre too easy, put one leg on a chair behind you and do one legged squats, also do lunges and calf raises on stairs. I would work abs a couple times a week with crunches and lying leg raises. I think this could help you out some and i hope it does. Good Luck.

Thesimplest way to do what you want would be to join as a Pro member. You can set up tweak and print a lifting routine for 2 days a week. Then you can reset and print a home routine for the other days. I also find keeping an e-log I can look at invaluable.
