Hello, I would love to know if what I'm doing sounds like a good routine. I want to gain muscle, right now I don't have much of any. I am 5'4" and 110 and dont really feel like i need to lose weight, I just want some muscle. So i'm trying to eat 80-100 grams of protein a day, and I make sure to have some right when I wake up and after my workout, which is right before bed (the only time I have to do it). For my work out I do tae bo advanced, and afterwards I do some lifting with our primitive weight bench... bench presses of I think 30 pounds or something, bicep curls of ten pounds, tricep curls of 5 pounds,lifting with my legs for quads with 30 pounds (sorry i dont know what the exercise is called!), and then I turn on my back and lift the same weight toward my butt. I also do sit ups and butt crunches. I usually do 3 sets of 15 reps on weights. Does this sound okay to people? Should I change the exercises, weights, etc.? Just want to make sure, I'm not really educated on weight training. Its kind of new to me. thanks so much!
