I just signed up for a POLE DANCING class. (yes, its an exercise class!!) It starts in March, and runs for 10 weeks. I have heard such good things about it; how its great for strength and toning. Could anyone offer anything else in regards to this class??

I can't say that I've ever heard of a pole dancing class. However, I am incredibly intrigued!:big_smile::big_smile:
I have been 'aquainted' with an exotic dancer or two and from what I heard, it's not easy. I'm sure it'll do wonders for your figure if you stick with it.

lindsay - I doubt you'll find many guys on here that know much about it other than they'd like to see some professional demonstrations. :)

The sad thing is, I am pretty sure they offer that over hear at RIT. I think it counts for a gym credit. Then again, I got credit for massage therapy as a gym credit over here, so that shows what our phys ed department is like. j/k
Menace- I could see how that might motivate you to pull heavy.

Let me add one more thing.
When I was in my early twenties I shared a flat in south St. Louis with my brother, and the two girls that lived downstairs from us were both pole dancers for a living.
I still to this day have not met any two girls in better shape.
