I was on westside....snooping...and several peopleon here state to do dynamic effort stuff under 50% or so....while on west side 62.5%-80% is the "perfect" rep range for speed and weight ratio....on the force curve production...???

I usually say 45%-65%, in a wave.
Also, continue reading. Westside DE has gotten lighter and lighter as time has gone on. I believe 2-3 years ago, they recommended 80%, then went lighter, and lighter, etc.
Although I do my DE differently. I work from 30% to 90%. Not very dynamic, but according to research, it is the intent to produce acceleration that matters. Of course, if I am run down, I do not do this.
Most people that squat 700lbs + can not do this 2X per week. Westside gets a lot of crap for this. People saying it is "wrong" because they squat 2X per week. However, they do not squat ME twice a week, and that is why the system works, regardless of what these people say.

They also say that the longer you train the lower the percentage on the dynamic work. Percents are guidelines. I would rather err on the side of being too light than too heavy though. If you can ever get a chance to use a tendo unit then you will not need to use percentages. My best power numbers occur between 47-55%. I am sure everyone is different though.

And now, are you ready for this???

And Rich Sorin is usually pretty good about prices. You could find it cheaper I am sure, but then...
I'll stick with what feels right and percentages.
