well, i usually stay away from it myself... It's not that high in protein compared to other types of meat, specially because it's quite high in fat and low in carbs...

Usually it says *not a significant source of protein.

Porkrinds! Mmmm...haven't had those in probably 3 or more years! Too bad they are high in fat, like bacon, so I stay away.

The fat is high, but if you are keeping your carbs really low (like Atkins or Protien Plan or other low-carb nutrition plans), you can grind some up and use them instead of bread crumbs in some recipes (like zero-carb meatballs).
