Thought it would be cool to see what everyone's post workout routine is, from nutrition to supplements to recovery methods.

Immediately after my workout, I stretch, take Vitamins B6, C, and Selenium, and drink Cytogainer. I then take a hot/ cold shower and do some oxygen uptake breathing methods while I'm in there. When I get out, I stretch again and eat some lite yogurt.

Studies have shown stretching enhances recovery and strength significantly.

After reading my post, I probably sounded like a dick just then. I'm sure you know that, Leo. Didn't mean to sound like some smart off, but forreal why don't you stretch?

Aron no worries....

I try to do some stretching while I am resting...remember...I rest as long as 20 min between some sets....nothing too crazy....I usually stretch opposing muscles....I usually do dynamic type stretches...and a bit of passive/static with opposing muscles...

I am usually running late at the end....for some reason it's tough to leave enough time for me to stretch afterward...I dont worry about it to be honest....Flexibility/Balance are some of my worst physical traits....and lifting heavy has actually improved both....although I work a bit on them outside of gym....spur of the moment at work or at home type of thing....

I sit on my ass for at least 20 minutes. This is one of my favorite recover things. I use this time to fill out a workout log, have a C+P shake, and RELAX. I can't stress the importance of this.
After that, I immediately eat as much as I can get my hands on.

I prefer the PNF method of stretching. It seems to have worked the best for me post workout. Usually use dynamic pre workout.

Post workout, your focus should be on calming the nervous system. PNF system won't do this. I prefer PNF for later in the day, especially on off days. Remember that it is possible to overdo PNF.
Pre-workout I do a few mobility drills to warm up and loosen my incredibly tight hips.
