I have just started my weight training regimen this past week and was expecting to be quite sore the days following my workouts. Thus far I have not experienced any soreness to speak of. I feel that I am training hard and am using enough weight and repitions so that I reach total failure by the end of the last two sets.
Does the lack of aching mucsles mean I am not pushing myself hard enough? I feel if I push any harder I will have a stroke or something since I am exerting myself so much already.
Thanks in advance

I believe having soreness or DOMS is not an indication of a good or bad workout. Some people get sore, some don't.

DOMS is not a requirement...it's not a badge of accomplishment...some people don't get sore...as long as you're failing your sets at prescribed reps you're doing it right....

describe your typical workout...what do you do?
