Power clean and Power Snatch

Hi,

On my summer workouts they want me to do power snatches, only I've never done that before, so I have been doing power cleans instead until I can talk to them or someone who can show me how the right way to do it. But until then, I was wondering what is the big difference, is one better than the other, what is different muscles that are being worked for each exercise???

both the power clean and the power snatch work almost every muscle in the body. They are great for athletic devolopment, because they teach your muscles to fire together.
The main difference is in a power snatch, you drop to the hole, and keeping arms extended, you catch the weight overhead in a sort of military press fashion.
