Fairly nice workout today, not quite as strong on shoulders. Last shoulder workout I fairly easily did my 5x5 (for a first) with 150 on Seated Olympic bar militaries.
Today however was a bit different could have been attributed to many things, one being it was my week to skip them, and I did them anyway. Or just a bit tired today, not much sleep last night. So, anyway, that is 3 weeks in a row, may not have been fully recouperated. Anyhow, did get them in, but it was much more of a struggle. Started my stack of Powerfull, C2, cAMP and Cissus along with Green Bulge today. Nothing special to note, of course first day. Here is the stack and timing... pre-workout (3) C2 (2) Powerfull (2) Cissus (5) Green Bulge(Creatine complex) 5 pm (2) cAMP (2) Powerfull (2) Cissus pre-bed (2) cAMP (2) Powerfull (2) Cissus Anyway, here is the workout..... Wide grip chins....15,14,10 Behind the neck cable pulldowns....140x10,160x10,180x9 Rotary lat pulldown....250x6,205x9 Close grip Cybex pulldown(hammer grip).....210x10,230x8 Bent over rows....135x10,185x10,185x10(very cautious on these due to lower back, so nothing but excellent form, weight not so important) Dual axis rows(lower, hammer grip)....180x10,220x10 Macine stack weighted hypers....130x15,150x15 Seated olympic bar militaries.....150x5,150x5,150x5,150x5,150x5 Barbell shrugs....225x15,315x15,405x5(be glad when my versa grips get here!) Cable medial delt raise....40x12,50x10 Machine stack weight medial delt raise....100x10,100x10 Seated rear delts(facing pec deck)....110x10,140x8 In retrospect, though I struggled a bit with my top weight on 5x5's, I had an excellent shoulder burn, and also a pretty exceptional back pump. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Ok, here is the "list" that is claimed about the effects, or shall I say they are looking to substantiate.
Following is a list of effects we were looking to confirm: --Increase in Strength --Increase in Muscle Mass --Increase in Fat loss --Increase in Endurance --Increase in Recovery --Increase in Positive aggression --Increase in Quality of Sleep --Increase in Erection Strength --Increase in Sexual Vigor I will say I did rest well last night, very unusual for an old insomniac like me. It is only one night, but I woke up this morning feeling more "with it". One night does not prove anything, and more evidence is of course needed. But if it helps in this area with me, than with my sleep problems, it may be worth it alone! -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Day 2....10/10/05
Not too much to report yesterday. I had a pretty nice arm day. Nothing out of the ordinary in any way other than maybe a bit stronger, though this could be decieving and evidence is nowhere near being able to make any statements yet. I keep a log of all my workouts, so on paper I was indeed a bit stronger, but again, have no justification for it yet. So many variables go into a workout. Workouts can be simply good or bad depending on tons of things, supplements not even involved. So when I test a product, I look for something that is completely new or stands out in some way from any norm. Then this is in fact quantifiable evidence to me of a supplement doing something. As of yesterday, I have none of this evidence to report, in any area, either workout or the other "personal" areas alluded to as things to look for. So, today starts day 3...off day today, taking the same doseages other than changing my first dose to first thing in the morning rather than pre workout. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Ok, will do. In your correspondence you stated 2 for the first 2 weeks, then go to 3. So, I was following directions to have an accurate log.-------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Day 3 of stack.....first day of bumping up dose to 3 from 2(so many times with supplements underdosing is a problem)
Well, as I said, when I test a product I am looking for something quite out of the ordinary that can quantifiably jump out and say it is definitely the supplement doing something. Well, yesterday may have been a start. What can I say, it was leg day, and I went up a full 50 lbs. on the leg press! 50 lbs.! And for 3 reps. I did 1230 lbs. yesterday, and that was after doing a record for 1180! If yesterday was any indication, this is indeed going to be an awesome stack. Need more evidence of course, but those kind of workouts don't come too often. On the downside, sleep has become a major issue. Extremely, and I mean extremely restless sleep. Just all over the bed, up every 2 hrs. at least and even while "sleeping", thinking about stuff. A price to pay??? Not sure, but this is 3 nights in a row now. Anyway, here is what happened on the plate loaded leg press( I hate unloading all those dam plates!)..... Plate loaded squat press....770x10,950x10,1130x5,1180x3 -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Slept well last night. Had a high quality back workout today. When I have more time will go into more detail. Tomorrow is chest day, this will really be telling as to any strength progression. Today I hit highs on numerous back exercises. If the sleep thing holds I am going to love this stack.-------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Awesome chest day today. Set the bar to start from last week with my 5x5's.
Last week..... This week..... Decline barbell.....225x5,225x5,225x5,225x5,225x5,275x4...this week.. Decline barbell....235x5,235x5,235x5,235x5,135x5,275x3(5 sets 10 lbs. heavier, and still able to hit 275 for 3! Incline barbell.....185x5,185x5,185x5,185x5,185x5(and I was pleased!) but this week.... Incline barbell...185x5,185x5,185x5,195x5! And then 1 set of dumbbell inclines....80x6 Flat barbell bench.....205x5,205x5,205x5,205x5,205x5 last week Flat barbell bench.....205x5,205x5,205x5,205x5,225x5 and then one set of dumbbell bench....100x6:big_smile: Then went over to the seated chest press, set the whole stack(290), and repped out 3 solid reps, then did it again!:dumbbell::big_smile: Went back over to the decline, knocked out 6 reps with 225! I was done, but what an awesome feel of power today, and the chest pump was pretty extreme. I am really liking this stack so far, if this keeps up, I will be ready to recommend it to folks. :) Part of my criteria for recommendation is something out of the ordinary as mentioned, and while one workout does not cut it, 3 now in a row and feeling of well being to go along with it is starting to become that out of the ordinary something. Stay tuned.... -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

So, are you not supposed to take cAMP in the mornings? Mine says to take one dose in the mornings and a dose 45 minutes before workout or 5 hours after morning. I have been taking it and Cissus. BB1fit: I read in other posts that doing a cardio session right after or before a muscle work out may have - results. I was wondering if cAMP or C2 would help out with muscle cannibalism if I were to do a cardio work out after a muscle building work out?

I would always try to separate the two if you can, but if you must, then cardio post is the better option. The cAMP should help, but I would get some amino acids in me as quickly pwo as possible. My wife does this, and she sips her protein shake while doing cardio. I guess that would be the next best scenario if you must do cardio at this time.-------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

No, in fact if you look at the stack, this works out well.

Workouts keep getting better. Excellent back/shoulder day today. I am believing this indeed is a worthwhile stack.
However, no progress in sleep quality. Disappointed in this aspect, but others especially workouts are nice. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

So bb1fit how is the weight loss part of your study going? I too have found that I can lift more weight so far so good. Have not seen any real weight loss yet but I have only been taking cAMP for not even a month and just started to taking C2

Well, I am not really on a fat burn program of any kind right now. I am staying right around maintenance, and looking for my lifts to increase, eat a good enough amount of food to supply energy, but very clean.
I will say I look much leaner in the morning(we all look leaner in the morning), but much moreso. My abs and obliques are much more pronounced at that time than normal. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Did chest/biceps today. Changed things up a bit today, started with flat bench, then inclines and then declines followed by 2 sets of flies. My flat bench was up considerably.
Bicep workout was equally good, things are progressing well. The post above the last one, ATMASTERS asked how my weight loss was going. Well, as another thing I forgot to address in that post, I was looking much leaner with my pump today in the gym. Bicep vein is pronounced, and the shoulder veins(which are hard for me to have), were showing with my reps. I "looked" much more cut than I have the previous weeks. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Sure Jim....go to synergymuscle.com. The cAMP is a sound product, used it with great results last contest prep in May, and liked it so much continued useage post contest. Seemed to be able to increase my calories by a substantial margin and still stay leaner for longer. (veins, etc.)
Adding a good creatine to the stack would be ideal. The Green Bulge I was chosen as a tester for, it is by Controlled Labs, you can get it on their website, or much cheaper at bb.com. I am fond of cAMP myself. You may have to be the judge of that. My deal is caffine I guess. I have a huge problem with it. With cAMP, I drink one cup of green tea and am good to go.
I cannot sway someone, nor would it be right, from a product simply because of my problem handling caffine. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Today was a chest day, did biceps yesterday and normally and will be chest and bi's on this split. My right shoulder was a little sore yesterday, so I decided to give it a days rest.
By the way, yesterday's bicep workout was just exceptional. Chest today, haven't done dumbbell bench in quite a while now. Started out with 85's for my first working set, knocked out 10 like it was baby weight. Went to 95's and knocked out another easy 10. Picked up 105's and did 6 super clean reps, start to finish. Then went to 110's and hit 4 nice reps. Just stopped there, probably could have forced out another and gone up, but moved on to inclines, my partner said he was done! Inclines weng great, holding my reps even after flat bench at 185 on inclines. There was a time when hitting just one with 185 was a feat in itself! I am thinking maybe next Friday to start with inclines for another change and see what happens. Did declines, and power partials and then some flies after. Probably over did it, but man, I am loving this stack and just felt the need to push on. Probably would have done more if my buddy hadn't said enough already! -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

bb1fit i'm about a month away from 21 and wanted to start taking these products. Do you know if they would be safe for me? I already got some green bulge before I even read this thread but it seems you've had great results. I just worry that these might be harmful too me because of my age, they aren't comparible to superdrol or anything right? cause that's out of the question for me.
