First one that comes to mind has to be bolton and benni changing records.
My money goes to bolton, just because he has it in him to break world records in the wpo even AFTER a full meet, without taking token lifts in the bench and squat to save up for the deadlift.

As for mendleson vs rychlak, I've got to say mendy. Why? Hes a much more likable person. And hes a stronger raw lifter, which I think will go farther once he learns his shirt.

I am more than likely biased (I have had the oppurtunity to discuss matters with both mendy and andy), but what do you guys think? Any other good match-ups?

I don't really follow up too much on the top powerlifters, dare I say. I love reading the articles on powerlifting and the different style, but I don't really pay attention to the competition itself. I like to keep up with the world records, but that's about as far as it goes. But I would definitely say I definitely like someone who lifts more raw, and tries at all the lifts anyday over someone who uses all the equipment and specializes in one area.

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle-victorious.
