This morning, I had to take an ACT type exam, that I have to pass to become a teacher, and I realized something: there are too many damn grammer rules. The math and reading parts were horribly easy, but when the writing part came, I was never sure If Iwas using the correct grammer rules.Am I alone, or do other people not know the rules on every type of punctuation and everything else? I don't like tests like that where it's all about memorization of rules like that. Understanding the meaning behind a passage is practical and so is figuring out mathematic problems, but I hate being tested solely on memorization. Anyway, I'm done complaining about the nonsensical english language. (yes, nonsensical is a word :) )
-------------- I have some good news! I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Gieco!
