I'm usually go to the gym after work. whats a good and quick pre workout meal for a person on the go?

i use a granola bar... dont know if i am doing the right thing though, i have heard you need to have carbs before working out, not so sure about proteins, i have them afterwards. Though of course many would advise to watch for the daily amount of carbs your diet plan suggests. :)

Always try to incorporate protein into your meals before physical activity.

I drink a protein shake with 1 scoop of whey in it an hour before working out.

If it is say within 30-45 minutes, some sugar and caffine will work well. For instance a small candy bar and a cup of coffee. Off to your best workout ever. :)
