i try to eat veggies and they dont seem to settle right in my stomach. plus i really dont enjoy the taste of most veggies though they look like they are delicious. for ex. i can see a ripe red juicy tomatoe, and want it as soon as i take a bite, the taste gets to me and i spit it out. same goes with most other veggies carrots, lettuce, cooked spinach, colliflour, eggplant etc.. i tried using dressing turns out i really dont like those either the salad was better without.
anyways, any suggestions to somehow getting myself to like veggies so that i can eat healthier? i really dont want to dread eating my next meal because it's going to be something that triggers my gag reflex.

I developed a taste for veges by cutting them into small pieces. For instance if I like most of the stuff in a salad, its easier to take the other ingredients if they are small pieces and all mixed in.

try adding some spices to your veggies. Some spinach sauteed with garlic and a little olive oil is wonderful, same thing with zuccini. Try not to overcook your veggies, as that will drasticly change the taste. Carrots, broccoli, asparagus should all still be a bit crunchy. For a sweet tooth with veggies involved, you could always take celery sticks and fill them with peanut butter! Yum!!

thanks for the suggestions. i'll try. i just dont want to feel like i'm force feeding myself. that's one reason alot of fad diets dont work for long (i.e. atkins, slimfast), you dont get to eat things you enjoy so you get frustrated and binge on all your favorites whether they're healthy or not. atleast this is from my experience.
