I began working out and a new diet program beginning the day after Thanksgiving. Since then I have lost 15#. (I am loosly following the BFL program) I am gradually getting better with my eating habits. Here is where I am confused - I have also been measuring several areas (Bi's, abs, waist, shoulders) and do not seem to me making progress. Maybe a half inch to and inch here and there. I guess my questions is, is this normal? I would have thought that I would see more growth in these muscle areas.

Half inch here half inch there , it adds up. Yes, its very normal.Your body does not want to change. You keep up the fight and you will win.
It halps to change up exercise so as to shock your muscles and keep them guessing.

Those commercials where they make all of those fantastic claims "I lost 11 inches!" You know the ones. They are adding an inch from here a half inch from there. Like Charlie said it all adds up. I would take a half inch here are there any day of the week. That is good progress for a month and a half.
