there are so many proteins i go crazy just thinking about it! my question is when are you supposed to use certain proteins?


whey is good post and pre training, but when is a blend better to use? or whey isolate or egg? its so confusing!

You are correct about the whey. A blended protein, such as a milk and egg one, is great for all day use. Any time during the day when you need to take in some extra protein, a blended one would be prime, i.e., as meal #2, before bed, etc.

Isolates have a higher BV than concentrates because the actual protein content is higher. WPC is around 70-85% protein and WPI is around 90-98%. This is excellent post workout. A blend is good the rest of the time.
