One more quick question. I have been taking 100% Whey Protein from Optimum. Is this stuff any good or just a waste. It tastes really good, but didn't notice anything major. What else does everyone use. I will do some looking on the other posts but want to know what you recommend.

i've never tried it myself, but i have heard good things about optimum's pro complex. for a blended protein, i used universal's milk and egg protein. now they've added animal max, which is really good stuff. my 2 cents........

Rev you really are an animal! I have used Optimum whey before its good stuff. I go by the company name, taste, and price (in that order) when picking a whey. I am currently taking Myoplex by eas, I got a really good deal.....

I use Optimum Whey as well. I like it, and it was a good deal. I don't know what you will really *notice* when adding whey to your diet. An ECA, well that would be different. If taken correctly, with a good diet you should gain mass, but... It is a combination of factors that make your workout and regimen successful and the Whey IS a supplement meant to make up for what you cannot get in food.

I tried myoplex, it made me gag, i think it's because it was vanilla. I have discovered that I really don't like vanilla flavored protein.

the old milk and egg was gross! but, damn, did it work! the animal max has an incredible flavor, and is decently yummy.
