Do you think eating fresh salmon evryday would be a good choice for adding protein to my diet?

And not only good fats and protein but fish also provides amino acids. I have salmon about once a week even though I hate fish. but it is just to good for you to pass up.

It is pricey at the market; but I plan to catch my own-then chop it up in 8oz chunks, keep it in the freezer in a big bag.

Don't get much better than salmon. The health value of the fish oils alone are worth the meal, then add in a great protein source on top of that. Good eating. I like to grill them on the BBQ pit. Put some of that good salmon marinade they sell in the fish department, or just lemon pepper. Got any good recipes, bring them on!

Salmon is great. I eat salmon oil every night (I don't eat fish -the taste bothers me!!).
Just count in the calories and macronutritions in your total daily food intake and it'll be okey.

One way if you are in a hurry; place a 4-6 oz. steak in a bowl with a tbl spoon of wtr, some seasoning, and a wet paper towel to cover it. nuke it for 1 minute, flip over and nuke for another min. The towel and wtr will keep it moist. Sometimes it depends on your mic, you may need to adj the time a little, its real easy to over cook.

Sam's Club sells about 6 individually frozen salmon filets for around 7 dollars, there are extremely convenient!

I live in the Pacific Northwest...and we have some damn good wild salmon here! I have about 100 lbs of salmon in my freezer as we speak. Helps to have a hubby and father-in-law that love to fish and hunt. I like to put the salmon steak in tinfoil, some herbs, maybe some carrots, cauli, broccoli and lemon juice and throw it in the oven for about 20-30 minutes...comes out nice and moist. These guys are also great for moose and deer meat...very lean.
