According to "Lou Ferrigno's Guide to Personal Power, Bodybuilding, and Fitness" eggs have 12% protein by weight with a 94% utilization rate. In other words... you can't beat them. Good thing I dig omelets! :)

coolness,
the egg yolk of the egg contains most of the fat and cholesterol and very little protein. It simply add flavor. I usually have and recommend that you mix whole eggs with whites. I eat 4 egg white with 2 whole eggs scrambled.
Good Luck.

other great sources are whey and soy diary foods are good sources of protien as well but contain fat as well. try cereals or oatmeal in the mourning fish or lean meat with rice at lunch time and egg whites sometime in between

I know the yolks are not as good for you, but it is SUCH A PAIN to seperate the two. Being a cheapskate, I refuse to spend the crazy amount of money for the preseperated whites. I'll just live with the extra fat.. I don't intake that much fat anyway.

From what I have read in Men's Fitness - They advise that two egg whites and a yolk should be fine source of protein. Especially if your cholesterol is low.
