Beyond that I can't think of any reasons to go for complex carbs specifically, after a workout other then for your usual diet's sake and maybe energy boost for the day.
Someone feel free to correct me if I'm missing something here.
Ok, got a quick question, I know your supposed to take your protein shake immediately after workout, and I know you need a good amount of complex carbs following your workout. My question is how long after the workout should I wait to eat the carbs?
