This sounds scrumptious....does it matter what kind of protein powder? Do they mostly have the same amount of protein per 1/2 cup? I think I will try this on the weekend. Thanks Sandy for another great one!

Ok, I tried this one, but my calculations only came out to 10g protein per bar (w/ a 10 bar total). How many grams of protein is in the powder you used? Next time I guess I will have to add more with maybe less milk and oats to keep the same consistency. Has anyone else tried these?

You may have used a diffrent protein powder than I did, I had some here that we don't use anymore, I think it was weilder, I think that is how you spell it. Also I didn't mix the milk with it in liquid form. I mixed it as a powder. I guess I should also tell you that I used olive oil and not butter. I never use butter, I always replace butter with olive oil.

Well, I used Brummel & Brown instead of butter, but next time I will try the olive oil. I did use the dry milk though. My son liked them, but I made some notes of modifications to try next time. Thanks.

Ok, tried these again. This time I left out the nuts and used 3 T of reduced fat peanut butter instead of the oil. I did add another egg white as I was afraid they would be dry. They came out pretty good. Better than my first ones, I thinked I baked those too long.
