According to my nutrition program I am suppossed to consume 250g of protein a day. I have only been able to get about half of that without going way over my allowed fat and carb intake. I eat a protein bar after every workout and I eat 4-6 meals a day. Could someone post what they would usually eat in a given day??

Try eating egg whites more often and include some veggies to make some omelets. You might also want to eat more chicken. I regular have 3 pieces of chicken a day (16g per 100g of chicken). I also eat 2 cans of tuna at least a day (that runs to to 30g X 2 =60g of protein.

All of these aforementioned are great sources of protein without the fat.

I also find that protein shakes contain less fat than protein bars in general (especially if u use skim milk).

Vary it up. Eggwhites and whole eggs, chicken, tuna, salmon, turkey, beef, skim milk, cottage cheese, cheese, any lean fish. Add to that your 25-40 gr. protein supplement once or twice per day, and you will easily get your alloted amount.
