I found on this site where it says that you only need about one gram of protein for every 2.2 pounds yet why does my personal nutrition plan suggest 135 grams of protein when I weigh 137 pounds? Also, I don't really like meat and I don't eat fish so I get most of my protein with chicken and feel like protein powders will make me fat . . . what should I do about getting enough protein?

There are many formulas that figure protein intake and as you do more research you'll see there is still an ongoing debate as to your requirements. However, it is becoming clear through recent research that for people who are engaged in strenuous exercise such as weightlifting 1 gr per lb is a more accepted requireme (Some propose even higher intakes). Your ft nutritional program recommends a variation of 10%. You can purchase a protein powder that is around 120 calories for 22 gr of protein. Not a bad trade off. Also, even though excess protein can be converted to fat, it is unlikely if the rest of your diet is sound.
