i am 17 and i weight 150 pounds and i am wondering how much protein i should eat a day?? and what portion of that should be my protein powder? i am trying to get bigger of course, and does carb intake matter?? i ussuly eat about 500 grams of carbs a day and only about 70 grams of fat a day

If you fill out your nutritional profile (see top), it will give you a calculation of how much protein carbs and fats you should be eating.
If you fill out your whole profile, then we can give more specific advice

thanx...wow i have to eat 255 protein.....i used to eat 175 and i had trouble with that, i ussuly eat 60 grams of proteins with my suplement a day...how do i eat 255!!! thats crazy

oh and also...my work out plan is telling me to do 20 reps on my first set??? and then it goes down to 14?? i am trying to gain muscle mass and i thought i had to do alot of weight and do around 8 reps?? 20 reps is alot and id have to do little weight with that

At the top of this board is a thread "grocery list for a bodybuilder" - it has good sources of protein for you

The first set is a warm up set to encourage blood flow to the muscles - use a light weight and don't try to reach failure.
For the rest of your sets aim for 8-12 reps.
