I have a question about protein. I see here on the forum that 1gram per pound of weight is good I Weigh 300lbs
How do I get 300 grams in a day without drinking several shakes I'm using Met-RX Protein Plus it has 46 grams of protein per serving.Is there something out there that offers more protein. I know I get it from my diet also I just don't want to be eating all day or drinking 6 to 8 drinks a day.
Or is protein even that Important??? Or Can something else be added to boost it?
You dont' need 300 grams of protein in a day...if you want to lose fat as in your profile get your bf% measured....then you will know what your lean body mass is...and what's fat, its 1 gram per pound of lean mass that you should be doing...and dont' look around for to much with more than 40ish grams of protein(with the exception of morning and post workout your body simply cant utilize all that protein...so it goes to waste-aka adipose tissue) Protein is important...as it is key to building muscles...but do not neglect a healthy diet from good nutritional sources.
